Our team
Led by Daniel Barber, Paro Consulting's urban planning team offers diverse expertise in statutory planning, residential development, and heritage conservation, ensuring comprehensive advisory services across a range of projects.

Daniel is the founder of Paro Consulting and has over 15 years professional experience in both local government and the private sector in New South Wales. This includes positions held at Woollahra, City of Sydney & Ku-ring-gai Councils, and private sector management roles in both private consultancy and property development. Daniel is a Registered Planner and Member of the Planning Institute of Australia, with tertiary qualifications in both Planning and Property Development.
Daniel has built a reputation for providing valuable planning and development advisory to clients in both the public and private sectors. His expertise covers a wide range of planning areas, including strategic planning, statutory planning, and project management and is regularly an expert in the NSW Land and Environment Court.

Wilson has over 10 years professional experience in both local government and the private sector in New South Wales. This includes a Senior Statutory Planner position held at Woollahra Council and tertiary qualifications in urban planning.
Wilsons’s ability to achieve positive outcomes across complex projects and planning issues has given him an invaluable skill set relating to the interpretation of planning legislation and its application. Wilson is an expert in advising of approval strategies, providing specialist evidence in the Land and Environment Court and providing independent assessment of DAs for Councils.

Stacie has over 5 years professional experience in the private sector in New South Wales as a planning consultant and holds tertiary qualifications in urban and regional planning.
Stacie has extensive experience managing a high caseload of various development applications, providing specialist Heritage Advice, and preparing planning proposals and other planning documents. Stacie is a specialist as assessing applications for strata plans, childcare and greenfield developments.

Aoife Browne is a dynamic planning and sustainable development professional with 3 years of experience in both residential and commercial projects. Aoife has a BA in Geography and Sociology and Master of Planning and Sustainable Development from University College of Cork graduating with a Class 1.
Recently relocated to Sydney, Aoife brings a fresh perspective and a strong commitment to sustainable urban planning. With a keen interest in learning and growing within the vibrant Sydney planning landscape, Aoife is eager to contribute her expertise while continuing to develop her skills in a new and exciting environment. Her background in planning, paired with a passion for creating sustainable, liveable spaces, makes her a valuable asset to any project team.
